On October 26, 2023, on the basis of the Department of Natural Sciences of the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, together with JSC NCPC “Orleu”, a regional seminar was held for school teachers on the topic: “ Interactive technologies that save geography teachers' time ”.

More than 20 geography teachers from Semey and rural schools (Borodulikha, Urdzhar, Zharma, Aksuat districts, etc.) took part in the seminar. At the seminar, topical issues of training teaching staff, the possibility of using interactive technologies, and developing the competencies of students in schools and universities were discussed.
